I'm sure there are plenty of you who are tired of me returning again and again to a handful of old favorites, but, my god, nearing it's 30th anniversary, Kansas City Trucking Co still amazes me! And watching bits of it last week, just trying to check that the tape I'm selling is in good shape, I found myself staring yet again at this great intro - the dark screen at the onset with just the sounds of a born-again preacher yapping on the radio... Ahhhh, 1976, back when we were so worried about the influence of those crazy uptight Christians! The file size is bigger than usual, I just couldn't stop recording, and went thru the intro shots on the highway, thru the first Jack Wrangler jack-off, included the Steve Boyd shower scene, and him getting a ride from hiS Katherine Ross girlfriend, as Jack and Richard Locke get it on in the Trucking Co office - so be patient as it downloads.
