a powerful story of love and destruction

(no, not my last relationship)

Killing Me Softly

"a tight bundle of smoldering manhood"

directed by: Francis Ellie (1978?)

Starring: Jack Wrangler, Stan Richards, David King, Guiseppe Welsh, and John Kovacs. With Kurt Mann, Adam Dehaven, Lance Prentis, Snapper Foster and Derek Thurston.

Jack Wrangler's new lover has an "uncontrollable need to kill in order to have an orgasm". So of course Jack is torn between continuing the relationship and risking death (gee, and i thought i was desperate to get a new boyfriend) or turning in his new lover (does he get to keep the apartment?). Highlights include sex (and murder) on the West Side Piers and the Brooklyn Bridge.

(seriously, turn the sound UP on this one, the voiceover at the end is fanastic!)

peter fisk
MOVING!

Director: Wakefield Poole (1974)

Casey Donovan and Val Martin, (House For Sale), in a simple-themed film about men looking for a place to live (renting a room, getting a roommate, etc). Includes Bert Edwards (horribly misspelled as "Burt Edouards"), Kurt Gerard, (Rooms For Rent), and Peter Fisk and Tom Wright (Apartment For Rent). While Casey Donovan and Val Martin were the 2 "big names", for me the real highlight is the third part, with Poole's real-life lover Fisk, involving a beautifully filmed fisting scene, as well as the unexpected, and wonderfully erotic haircut of Tom Wright during that scene . Saw the unedited film only once, in the summer of 2002 - I couldn't take my eyes off Fisk's tattooed forearms!

P.S - gahdamn! it's hard to find pictures of Mr Peter Fisk - these armpics will have to do

mr. murdock

Tex Murdock apparently only made two films, both for Fox Studios - Hot Beach (1979, with Tony Regalia) and Leather Bond (1980, with Tom LeDuc). What I find most interesting about him is how impossible it seems to be to get a picture of him in his beard! And we know he had one, as that's how he appears in Leather Bond (not to mention the leather jacket, leather cap, and leather chaps with blue stripe down side - slurp!) - which is on the Muscle Up VHS/DVD compilation - despite the cover pic showing him beardless. Any help, out there, with the Tex Murdock bearded pic???? Oh yeah, and any with BODY HAIR would be nice, too!

don't say it - end-of-summer doldrums

i am neglecting everything in my life other than work, the twice-weekly urge to drink beer and imagine the men i am staring at are looking back, and that bed over there and this chair under my ass. i need a vacation; i have plenty of vacation time accrued. i have next week off. i have a week in mid-september off. i have made no effort to decide where to go, or where to stay, or even if i will leave this room, this city during either week. i also have disposable, sell-able porno all over this tiny space, waiting for some scanning, brief typing and html-coding and listing on eBay to help with the bills, and the few extra bucks to take a few days out of the city. i have plenty of unanswered emails, easy ones which can be answered with a simple "thanks, that's nice of you to say so", and yet they go unanswered. but i will spend time figuring out if the pic above has been posted by me before (it has, June of 2007) and who is in it (clearly it is Dan Pace, aka Rocky Generro, standing; Fred Halsted with the sideburns, and, oh, how much time can I spend trying to figure out the third guy before i give up), and any other miscellaneous info I can add to the description of the pic - like mentioning the incorrect info over here - that Halsted was in all three of Gage's trilogy???? sheeeesh!! we all know he was only in El Paso and that it was Richard Locke who was in all three, as well as the fantastic Heatstroke and then it is time to hop in that shower, and begin another routine day of biking to work, grumbling for 8 hours about what I am doing there, biking home, dinner, falling asleep yelling at the tv news, and starting over again tomorrow.

Richard & Joe

sigh. sometimes i really regret the magazines that I've sold. but, at least i've managed to scan and (knock on wood ol' Gateway computer) saved pics - but not enough, sigh. Don't know much about these gentlemen, except that they are hot, named Richard & Joe, and I've only managed to keep a couple of pics form the first issue of ARENA magazine, published in 1978.

Barry Hoffman

ahhhhh, Barry! if we could just do something about the hair (i've cropped as far as I can without cutting off his face) but the tattoos, the fantastic tan line (no bikini or speedo for him!) You know him for his work with Athletic Model Guild (spanking films - ouch!), Old Reliable (focusing on his uncut thang), and of course, Brentwood's Hayride with the delicious Bob Bishop, and of course in Target Studios' On The Beach with Tom Fox. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

happiness

funny, i was gonna go with a different pic to go along with the music, but stumbled upon this sweet one of Mr David Gold. damn! such a handsome face, and well, the socks just put me over the edge - dunno why, can't say i'm a foot or sock fiend, but it must be the way they highlight the calves, perhaps? mmmmmmmm, haven't munched on some nice calves in i dunnohowlong!

Speaking of Riceboy Sleeps - i just don't think this album can be appreciated with just a track - you must listen to the whole thing, preferably early in the morning with coffee and the sun low in the sky; or after you've taken a handsome man home with you with a couple of refreshing margaritas in yer systems and some low candlelight and light kissing on the beck of his neck, or....

Hairy & Tattooey

if i had to guess, i'd say it's Nick Rodgers and Bull Dozier; the lightly hairy body and thick cock to the right look a lot like Nick. but on second thought, now that I look closer, I don't think Bull had that tattoo - it looks more like a tattoo by a Target model named Buck. but on third thought, it looks like the guy named BUCK had that girly tattoo, but both he and BULL had the same neck tattoo, making me think Buck is just the younger version of BULL. phewwwww, i dunno...

next days

exhausted, i had taken all my work clothes off, got a cool drink, put the AC on, and was about to watch some tv to relax. after a few minutes, the air a bit too cold but i didn't feel like getting up and turning it down, i reached down beside the bed to grab one of the discarded t-shirts from the week (they never get into the laundry bag right away). pulling it on, it felt different, softer. then i noticed the aroma; soft subtle cologne, and i felt a grin come over me, as i realized who's shirt it was. i pulled it all the way on, clicked the tv off, and let the setting sun reflecting off the building next door lull me into a nap. nodding off, thinking about his touch, his cute smile, the strong hairy legs and how we didn't want to get out of bed the next day, even though i had to get to work. i called in late, moving back into bed with him as we grabbed each other close, just enjoying the firm grip of each other's arms, entwining our legs as tight as possible.

I am the air that you breathe; I am the blood in your veins.

THE DESTROYING ANGEL

Director: Peter de Rome (1976)
Starring Tim Kent, Bill Young (aka Big Bill Eld), Thom Aaron, Philip Darden, Paul Eden, Evan DeBraye, Alain Monceau, Billy White, Rick Scott, Gian-Paolo Cotto, and Glenn Middleton

hard to watch this one without a joint in yer mouth.... oh, that's not true, it's just me remembering how I first saw this one back at the Bijou in Chicago (or was it the Jewel in NYC)..... can you imagine being in a movie theatre seat, with your head in someone's lap, and these noises going on from the screen??

The plot is simple enough - priest has doubts about his calling, and gets "called" to what looks like the Eagle (or is it the Spike?), has a beer with Big Bill Eld and decides to go to Bill's place to fuck, and do drugs. He's hooked - but is it the drugs, or the sex, or are they intertwined, or do the mushrooms give him the "OK" to explore his gay sexuality? Typical 70's priest, who seems to only have gay friends, meets another gayguy he wants to do it with, imagines a great watersports scene, does more mushrooms... you get the idea.

My Bijou Video VHS release version of this is, unfortunately, the edited version, with no watersports or baseball bat scene (i have a bottleg somewhere) But I think they may have issued an unedited DVD version

Adam & Yves

Director: Peter de Rome (1974) A Hand In Hand Film

An American in Paris falls for a Frenchman; references to Last Tango In Paris (i.e. a stick of butter used as lube), a cameo appearance by producer Jack Deveau, and even a glimpse of reclusive Greta Garbo! My favorite part is probably the fantastic montage of 70's Times Square movie theatre marquees, mostly of "blacksploitation" films, which leads to the all-black orgy in a movie theatre men's room.
