hard to watch this one without a joint in yer mouth.... oh, that's not true, it's just me remembering how I first saw this one back at the Bijou in Chicago (or was it the Jewel in NYC)..... can you imagine being in a movie theatre seat, with your head in someone's lap, and these noises going on from the screen??
The plot is simple enough - priest has doubts about his calling, and gets "called" to what looks like the Eagle (or is it the Spike?), has a beer with Big Bill Eld and decides to go to Bill's place to fuck, and do drugs. He's hooked - but is it the drugs, or the sex, or are they intertwined, or do the mushrooms give him the "OK" to explore his gay sexuality? Typical 70's priest, who seems to only have gay friends, meets another gayguy he wants to do it with, imagines a great watersports scene, does more mushrooms... you get the idea.
My Bijou Video VHS release version of this is, unfortunately, the edited version, with no watersports or baseball bat scene (i have a bottleg somewhere) But I think they may have issued an unedited DVD version
