Dear Daddy, my name is Brad. I go to school at NYU.....

DADDY DEAREST

"Dear Daddy, my name is Brad. I go to school at NYU. I'm 20 years old, horny, and I need a Daddy!"

directed by: Arthur J. Bressan, Jr. (1984)

Starring: Richard Locke, Daniel Holt, Johnny Dawes, Robert Vega, Dean Johnson, Andrew Dupree, and Jan Boscamp.

One of those film-within-a-film pornos that I love so much. This one is about porno filmmaker, Daniel Holt (obviously mirroring the real life director, Artie Bressan), making a porno called Fuck Me, Fuck Me Daddy. The film-within-a-film stars Dean Johnson (at the time a doorman at NYC's Boy Bar) as an NYU student who answers a personal ad for a daddy (portrayed by Richard Locke). Daddy Dearest explores the director's past relationships, and his fantasy that one day, one of the young stars of his films will be interested in him and stay after the porno film is completed.

Click one of the pics to view the movie trailer (you know that if you view the clip in the browser, you can "right click" and view it FULL SCREEN, right?), or here if you want to download and save for later.

DADDY DEAREST

Director: directed by: Arthur J. Bressan, Jr. (1984)

Starring: Richard Locke, Daniel Holt, Johnny Dawes, Robert Vega, Andrew Dupree, Jon Bascamp, Dean Johnson

Long OOP - Out Of Print, this is Richard Locke's last film. One of the many "film-within-a-film" plots that I really love. Daniel Holt plays a porn director making a film called "Fuck Me, Fuck Me, Daddy" and the film shows the making of the movie, as well as Holt's flashbacks to his relationship with Johnny Dawes, now his ex; as well as Holt spying on his neighbors (Vega and Jon Bascamp) through his binoculars; and Holt daydreaming that he's in his new film, having sex with the great RICHARD LOCKE (that's the scene I'm (partially) showing here, along with Mr Johnson's, er, johnson plowing Mr Dupree). Dean Johnson (who later created Rock and Roll Fag Bar and HomoCorps, as well as bands Dean & The Weenies, and Velvet Mafia) plays the role of an NYU college kid who answers a classified ad from a Daddy (Richard Locke). And you get to catch glimpses of Bressan at work; a truly fantastic film!

Enjoy the clip, and Yes, yes, since I have two copies (IN BOX!!) of this fantastic video, I am selling one on eBay.

Someone warned me many months ago that if my relationship got serious, my blog would get boring (some are saying: GET?...heehee!); well, the relationship is serious, and there may well be some truth to that prediction. But hell, when I started this some 5 years ago ( 5th anniversary will be tomorrow, the 7th!!), who knew it would last so long, and take up so much of my free time. The idea way back when was to talk about porno, which I think I still do an adequate job of. But then the ramblings about my sex life, lack of love life, and the occasional rant on injustices like Matthew Limon and gay adoption popped up between the hairy ass pics and video clips. Perhaps a bit unfocused and erratic, but hey..... gosh, this spring air (after yesterday's "snowstorm") must be getting me all philosophical. Not to worry, the porno clips are on their way

Coming up - clips from Jack Deveau's 1974 Drive (with Christopher Rage in drag); Tony Prince's Rawhide - one of the earliest pornomovies shot-on-video (1981), and Roger Earl's 1975 S & M classic, Born To Raise Hell. Oh yeah, and I'll try to get something from Richard Locke's last film, the OOP (Out Of Print) classic Daddy Dearest. Yes, either they are on sale now over in my eBay auctions, or will be soon. (And someone please explain to me why BLOGGER's spellcheck doesn't recognize the word 'blog'!)

four more years! four more years! four more...?
OR, what we're gonna do right here is go back, way back........ The first bj's gay porno-crazed ramblings blogpost (from 4 years ago, today) is re-posted below. Not too memorable, but, what the hell. In celebration of this anniverary, I was contemplating posting a 2 minute clip from this home movie I made a few years back, an excerpt from BJ GETS WET; that is, if anyone wants to see it. (Just remember, it's some old hairy guy playing with his wetself or something - YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!) Meanwhile....

daddy dearest

Working on some auctions, and hoping to post several DRUMMER Magazines, but I just couldn't give up Issue #60, January 1983 with VAL MARTIN (from the films Moving! and Born To Raise Hell) on the cover (as well as in the Robert Payne/Jim Wigler feature Val Breaks In A House Slave, where the above pic comes from). Maybe instead of trying to find someone like him, I should try to be more like him - hey, I got the beard! I just need some muscles, and one of them leather caps, and....

box o' porn

Just received this box o' porn this morning. I am quickly (as quickly as one can get thru porno) trying to skim thru and see that these are in good shape, etc. But I must say so far, so very very good! I got these for somewhat different reasons, but primarily because I was hoping they were older, full versions of these films. It's one of my porno pet peeves, videos that have parts of the original film or video missing. Midnite Men is notorious for selling older tapes with anywhere from 10-25 minutes missing from the original. I realize that for a few films, this is done for 'legal' purposes - the films contain a watersports or fisting scene, and distributing these types to some states can cause legal hassles -- so I understand that. But more often it's someone got a copy of a chopped of film or tape, or worse, just don't want to bother with tapes longer than 60 minutes, and reproduced it.

Like Something Wild. I bought this tape a couple years back, actually for a friend who had been searching for years for this, something he remembered fondly from his youth. Alas, it was missing big chunks. Since then, I have scoured eBay, and other sources, looking for this and other titles in their older packaging in the hopes that it would have the full version. Woo-Hoo! I just skimmed thru this one, and it clocks in at about 115 minutes. And I am waiting confirmation of this, but it looks like ------ gosh, those Bijou Video folks are great - I just got an email confirming they indeed have the full version. The wonderful (I say wonderful, not just cuz the answer was quick, and thorough, but if you search around their site, you'll see his pics, too!) customer service guy goes on to say that all their NOVA titles are full, unedited versions (I knew that about Brian's Boys - often sold elsewhere as Brian's Men with 20 minutes missing!). And I'll tell ya, I've emailed Bijou Video before and gotten quick, thorough answers each time.

And I'm rambling, but I guess that's what I do. Anyhoo - the other stuff. Gayracula - this one I discovered was being sold missing parts because I sold a copy on eBay to a young man, who, after viewing it, emailed me that it seems like there's stuff missing. A quick timing of my copy in my collection confirmed he was right - the newer, HIS Video version was missing pieces. The full version (I just timed the one I got in the mail today) should be 82 minutes. Grrrrr. I've found this problem in tons of other stuff from HIS video - Dreamer, 501, El Paso Wrecking Corp, the list goes on... Anyway, where was I? Oh yeah, the five tapes I got in the mail today. Daddy Dearest - IMfuckingPOSSIBLE to find, I've only seen it on eBay twice in 3 years (I won't say where those two copies are now, that would be bragging...), and have yet to see it elsewhere. This I remember so distinctly seeing when it came out, sitting in the Jewel Theatre on 3rd Ave in NYC not long after I moved here. ahhhhhh.... OK OK. Trick Time - I had a copy of this Halted/Yale production, but sold it on eBay. I regretted that, but now I have the bigger boxed version, and the reproduction quality seems better, but don't know if there's any real difference between the two. I'm glad to have it now, it's one of the last ones that Halsted filmed, and it also includes brief interviews of Michael Christopher, Tim Kramer (snore), and Johnny Dawes. And it also has a movie trailer for a great early 80's Michael Zen film, Falconhead Two - The Maneaters. Look for that trailer here, soon. I would love a full version of that (yup, HIS has skimmed off 15-20 minutes here, too).

miscellaneous stuff
My GOD Michael Christopher has a huge piece of meat! - No, that's not him over there, but I've been getting a lot of requests for info on director Arthur J. Bressan, Jr., and I'm watching one of his last films, Juice, which stars Mr Christopher (who you may remember from such films as The Best Little Warehouse in L.A., Gayracula, Pleasure Beach (a personal fave) and A Few Good Men),as a porn mag photographer who's boss Eric Ryan doesn't like his "arty" pics, so he's on a deadline to get more pics. Bressan also did a lot of work for P.B.S. apparently, and most notably did a few "legit" movies like Abuse which I haven't yet seen, but hope to rent this week. And lots of people want info on another of his porn films from 1984, Daddy Dearest, which was Richard Locke's last film, and also stars a young Dean Johnson, who apparently is hosting a new nite at a new(ish) bar, "The Hole", this Thursday called "Triple XXX"

Meanwhile, I'm posting this pic over here (or there, can't remember if i did align=left or right)as a sort of contest - I'm trying to figure out all those theatre posters in the background, and as an incentive to helping me out, if you Email Me the most correct answers, I'll send you a cockring - pictured over there somewhere, it's a simple, yet elegant, black leather snap-on cockring.

Today's election has made the friggin' phone ring off the hook for several days now, mostly from mayoral hopeful Mike Bloomberg - "Hi, I'm Mike Bloomberg, I'm not a politician, therefore, I am most qualified for a political job like mayor of the Center of the Universe, so please vote for me, or I take all those jobs i've created out of this fucking city!" Then there's former mayor Koch: "Hi, I'm former Mayor Koch, I've already endorsed 2 other losers in this election, so what the hell, I'll endorse Mike Bloomberg now."

as we used to say in Chicago, "vote early, and vote often"

apologies in advance to anyone who may come down with a case of ANTHRAX, and god forbid, get sick and well, die from it. BUT, as we all know, it's getting a bit out of hand. Like, why is it that 2 SENATE offices have found "spores" in their offices, so the HOUSE of Representatives shuts down for 5 days? Not to mention that one of them, is the Democratic leader (Daschle) and the other (Feingold) is the only Senator who voted against the friggin' anti-terrorism bill. And abortion clinics getting Anthrax threats - um, does anyone really think the Taliban terrorists are offended that Americans are having abortions (and presumably, producing less evil Americans)? And yes, I realize that as I write this, it's spreading (the scare, at least) into more government and media offices (sorry, CBS, Governor Pataki).

PLEASE remember that if you start donning rubber gloves to open your mail, that most of these disposable rubber gloves are lined with a small amount of TALCUM powder, so please don't freak out later when you see that white powder on your hands and clothes!

The other day, waiting for my one-hour eyeglasses to get processed, I was standing on the corner of 5th Ave and 20th street, in my 12-year-old 4-prescriptions-ago glasses, and I heard a siren. Fire Engine speeding from the west, coming toward me, and guess what? NONE of the friggin' cars moved!!! Lights flashing, sirens roaring, and it was a good 2 minutes before these stupid 3 cars got out of the way, the fire truck blowing it's horn like mad. Me, across the street, in bad eyeglasses, could see that these cars had NO ONE in their way - no pedestrians crossing, the 5th avenue traffic was non-existant, and these idiots didn't move (probably in an anthrax-freak-out daze, unable to respond to the BIG RED NOISY TRUCK behind them!) And it happened again yesterday morning, on Ave B, some guy in a car actually cut off a fire truck that had its lights flashing and siren going!

So, millions of Americans take CIPRO, driving up the stock value of Bayer, or whoever makes it. Those Bin Laden folks sell off their stocks, having made more money they need for their evil-doing plans. Then they start sending off some run-of-the-mill scarey disease, or they don't even need to bother, because millions of Americans have by now developed antibiotic resistance. And did ya know that CIPRO is already in your food? Yup, looks like the stuff is fed to chickens.

okay.... next scare: Post Office is mailing a postcard to ALL AMERICANS on how to handle mail - who's gonna be the first one to send out some paranoid e-mail about DON'T TOUCH THE POST CARD FROM THE POST OFFICE!!!
ok, enuf, you didn't come here for a lecture, just porn, right? And yes, yesterday's feature Rough Trades was fantastic! But, alas, as happened in the opening sequence of Daddy Dearest, the closing sequence of Rough Trades had an aerial shot of Manhattan's skyline, with of course, a view of you-know-what ........ I guess there is no escape!

In a world of men and boys
There is only one...
Daddy Dearest

yup, just got in this video I've been anxiously awaiting - plus, another by Bressan: Juice (about a photographer who's nude pics are too "arty" for his publisher, and he must get some new HOT ones before the deadline!)

this morning's stalker message: "Morning, Sunshine!" - creepy, eh?

Bjork's Hidden Place videoclip - (scroll down the link's page and click "here"

just got a classic, psychedelic 1972 porn vid Falconhead that I hope to watch later.
Also waiting for 2 more classics from my wish list Daddy Dearest and Juice, both from director Arthur J. Bressan - buying them from a nice guy on eBay.
