gosh, having that kid's pic here is really troubling to me, it really saddens me. I remember in 1972, so worried about Vietnam, and Nixon's re-election. I went with my Mom to vote that day, for some reason I needed to actually see her vote for McGovern. And I cried myself to sleep that night, not understanding why anyone would vote to continue the war.... I was 11.
